Refugees, who do not have the luxury of social-distancing, will be severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. We have taken strong actions to pivot, and offer SAFAR’s assistance to local authorities in their response to this pandemic. We are currently in talks with the Ministry of Health in Greece to find a way to assist them with the response. Even as our next steps are being altered by how this pandemic unfolds, we are committed to ensuring SAFAR is there for refugees during this unprecedented global catastrophe.
