Who We Are
Omar understands the refugee problems from lived experience, and his humanitarian initiatives have been recognized by President Obama. He has extensive experience in business development, program management, and non-profit initiatives focused on refugee resettlement and interfaith dialogue. Omar is graduating from the University of Southern California (USC) with a degree in Business.
Mei is a sophomore at USC studying Business, Math, and Media Arts + Practice. Mei is a Stamps Leadership Scholar, National Merit Finalist, and a recipient of the Presidential Volunteer Service Award. She is passionate about the intersection of digital tools and storytelling to make a social impact and has previously interned at a facial recognition startup in Taiwan. In her free time, she enjoys sewing and altering clothes.
Strategy & Performance Manager
Margaux is a senior at USC, double majoring in international relations global business, and public relations. Half French and half American, Margaux has lived around the world growing up between Asia, Europe, and America. Margaux is a Warren Bennis scholar and hopes to continue pushing global cooperation and integration throughout her career.
Mahira Raihan is an activist and interdisciplinary media artist from New York City. She is a junior at USC studying media arts and computer programming. She is skilled in product design, computer programming, interactive media, and non-profit program development. Her 7+ years of involvement and leadership in grassroots organizing inform her work in using human-centered design and emerging technologies to solve global crises.
Erna holds a master’s degree in social entrepreneurship from USC and has experience in communications and marketing. Growing up as a refugee in Germany and the Middle East has made her eager to find sustainable solutions for forcibly displaced people in the world today. She is passionate about giving refugees a better way of navigating their difficult journeys and securing a promising future.
Isaac holds a bachelor in computer science. He is inspired by creativity and challenges and has chosen to creatively support others through the technical challenges required to improve the world.
Regional Manager - Greece
Radwan has been globally recognized for his dedication to various medical humanitarian causes. He has extensive experience in the humanitarian space having led multiple medical organizations helping refugees. Radwan is fluent in Arabic, Greek, and English, and has a Ph.D. in Dentistry and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Global Health and Disaster Medicine from the University of Athens.
Lead Field Coordinator
Katie has a Bachelor’s degree in Human Rights and a Masters degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Manitoba, Canada where she received multiple scholarships for her academic and professional work. Having founded her own NGO in Uganda in 2006, Katie has been active in humanitarian space for over a decade and is highly skilled in NGO consultation, logistics, and field coordination and communication.
