Manager

Omar understands the refugee problems from lived experience, and his humanitarian initiatives have been recognized by President Obama. He has extensive experience in business development, program management, and non-profit initiatives focused on refugee resettlement and interfaith dialogue. Omar holds a degree in Business from the University of Southern California.

Margaux is a senior at USC, double majoring in international relations global business, and public relations. Half French and half American, Margaux has lived around the world growing up between Asia, Europe, and America. Margaux is a Warren Bennis scholar and hopes to continue pushing global cooperation and integration throughout her career.

Erna holds a master’s degree in social entrepreneurship from USC and has experience in communications and marketing. Growing up as a refugee in Germany and the Middle East has made her eager to find sustainable solutions for forcibly displaced people in the world today. She is passionate about giving refugees a better way of navigating their difficult journeys and securing a promising future.

Mahira Raihan is an activist and interdisciplinary media artist from New York City. She is a junior at USC studying media arts and computer programming. She is skilled in product design, computer programming, interactive media, and non-profit program development. Her 7+ years of involvement and leadership in grassroots organizing inform her work in using human-centered design and emerging technologies to solve global crises.

Asmaa Zantout pursued her master's in Social Entrepreneurship at USC, Asmaa is interested in combining her passion for social work with her business knowledge to address society’s greatest challenges. As a Lebanese woman, Asmaa grew up volunteering in numerous refugee camps at home which shaped her interest in continuously innovating in initiatives that address the refugee crisis globally.

Anne leads SAFAR’s field operations in Lesvos, Greece. Anne has two masters degree from the University of Amsterdam in Religion and Philosophy, speaks five languages, and above all, has years of experience in social work advocating for refugees.

Isaac holds a bachelor in computer science. He is inspired by creativity and challenges and has chosen to creatively support others through the technical challenges required to improve the world.
